“Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs,” a 2022 Isekai anime, is getting a second season!
The first season of the series was directed by Kazuya Miura and Shin’ichi Fukumoto of Studio ENGI. The first season consists of 12 episodes and can be viewed on Crunchyroll.
Masahiko Suzuki, the anime’s character designer, has also released a special illustration to commemorate the announcement.

Based on Yomu Mishima’s light novels with illustrations by Monda, the anime/manga follows a former salaryman who dies and is reincarnated in the world of an otome game that his sister forces him to complete.
Women rule supreme in this world, and survival is especially difficult for’mobs’ or minor characters like him. Leon sets out to disrupt this world and its social hierarchy by locating the cheat item Luxion and enrolling in the Holtfort Academy, using his previous life’s knowledge of the game.
He tries to live a normal life and find a wife, but his actions get him involved in various schemes, all while mixing with the nobility and other otome game characters.
