The Way of the Househusband is based on the manga by Kosuke Ono. The series began serialisation in Kurage Bunch magazine in 2018. If you’re not familiar with the series, here’s a quick rundown:
“Tatsu, also known as “The Immortal Dragon” among the yakuza, is a yakuza legend who has defeated a slew of rival gangs. Tatsu marries, hoping to put his past behind him, and devotes himself entirely to the househusband’s way of life, cooking, cleaning, washing, and grocery shopping every day. Masa, Tatsu’s tough former yakuza underling, isn’t thrilled with his new domestic life. As Tatsu strives to emulate the househusband, assassin after assassin attempts to eliminate him!”
Will there be more episodes of The Way of the Househusband Season 2?
While no official confirmation of additional episodes is available, it appears that the second season will follow the same release schedule as the first.
On April 8, 2021, The Way of the Househusband premiered with five episodes. Six months later, on October 7, 2021, the season was expanded by five episodes, bringing the total season order to ten.
Because Season 2 of The Way of the Househusband debuted with five episodes, we can anticipate another five-episode batch in the future. Though this is purely speculative.
