The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Was Made is an isekai parody anime based on Miku’s light novels and illustrated by U35. The first season had 12 episodes and aired during the Fall 2021 anime season.

Hanashi Media, the company that publishes the light novels, describes the source material as follows:

One day, Hiragi Seiichi’s entire school is transported to another world. He is ‘attacked’ by a gorilla while alone in a mysterious forest.

“I’ve never had sex with a man.” “Please be kind.”

Saria’s only wish is to be close to him. Tragically, tragedy strikes just as he is about to open his heart to the feminine simian.

Can the strength of their bond, combined with the mysterious Fruits of Evolution they’ve both consumed, bring about a miracle?
A romp through a fantasy world full of fantasy comedy!
