A third trailer for the upcoming Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! spin-off anime has been released, with a Japanese premiere date of April 5 (effectively April 6 at 1 AM JST) revealed.
The trailer includes new footage of Megumin and her fellow Crimson Magic Clan members, as well as a preview of the opening theme “STAY FREE” by Machico. The ending theme “JUMP IN,” performed by Rie Takahashi and Aki Toyosaki as Megumin and Yunyun, was recently revealed.
From 2014 to 2015, Kadokawa published Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! as a three-volume fantasy light novel series. The sequel series began in 2016, with the second volume released in 2019.

Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko publishes the series and its sequel, which has been adapted into a manga by Kasumi Morino.
The Konosuba: An Amazing World Explosion! Anime staff includes Yuujiro Abe (Kaguya-sama: Love Is War Season 1 and Season 2 episode director) as director and Kanasaki Takaomi (KonoSuba director) as chief supervisor.
Meanwhile, the following KonoSuba staff members are returning for this spin-off: character designer Kouichi Kikuta, series composer Makoto Uezu, colour designer Saori Yoshida, and music composer Masato Kouda.
Drive, rather than Studio Deen from Konosuba Seasons 1 and 2, or J.C.STAFF from KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World Legend of Crimson, is producing the show.
Komekko is played by Maria Nagamari, Chomusuke is played by Hitomi Nabatame, Arue is played by Kaori Nazuka, Funifura is played by Miyu Tomita, Dodonko is played by Sayumi Suzushiro, and Nerimaki is played by Shizuka Ishigami.
