10. I’ve Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills

The Japanese Football Association hires the intriguing and eccentric coach Jinpachi Ego to help them reach their World Cup goal after considering the current state of Japanese soccer. Jinpachi establishes the Blue Lock, a prison-like institution that isolates and pits three hundred outstanding strikers from high schools throughout Japan against one another, believing that Japan has lacked an egoistic striker hungry for goals. The only Blue Lock survivor will be named national team striker, while those who lose will be permanently barred from joining the team.
Yoichi Isagi, a striker who did not make the national tournament with his high school soccer team, has been chosen to take part in this daring initiative. He couldn’t help but wonder if he had passed to a teammate who had missed instead of scoring himself.
