If you don’t already know, Manhwa/Webtoons are essentially just different terms for Korean comics, which have become increasingly popular in recent years. And anime studios have finally taken notice of them, with the super popular power fantasy “Solo Leveling,” which even your mother has heard of, and Lookism both getting anime adaptations in 2023.
Asura Scans is a translation website that translates these Korean Manhwas/Webtoons into English and Turkish. They are also a well-known manhwa translator.
In this post, we’ll list the Top 10 Manhwa/Webtoons available on Asura Scans!
10. Reformation of the Deadbeat Noble

Airen Parreira is a young man who escapes reality by sleeping. People made fun of him and called him a “deadbeat,” but he had no desire to change. Until one day, he fantasised about becoming a swordsman… It was a dream about a talentless man who had spent decades training by swinging his sword incessantly regardless of the circumstances.
It has a great story, a great main character, and likeable side characters, and the art style is fantastic. Just two days ago, a new chapter was released, and it was an absolute banger!
9. Doctor’s Rebirth

Our MC was abroad doing medical volunteer work when he was caught up in a civil war. A rebel soldier shot and killed him while he was attempting to protect a patient. When he finally awoke, he realised he had transformed into a child and was in a world that resembled a Murim world.
To be more specific, he finds himself in front of a wrecked carriage and a group of strangely dressed people, all of whom are unconscious. He hurriedly administered first aid to everyone in an attempt to save even one person, and that’s when he realised he was inside the world of [The Supreme Demon King], a Murim novel he enjoyed reading.
After meeting the ‘Three Great Doctors’ rescue team, he discovered that one of the people he saved was the protagonist of this novel, the future Demon King Yeoharyun!
He became a sworn brother of the future Demon King in exchange for saving his life, and Baekrineuison, one of the most knowledgeable people in this world, recognised his potential and accepted him as his disciple. This is the story of how he rose to become Gangho’s greatest physician!
I’ve only read 4-5 chapters of this manhwa so far, but I’m enjoying it so far. In terms of popularity, it is ranked 10 on Asura Scans.
If you enjoy Murim manhwa but want to try something a little different, I highly recommend Doctor’s Rebirth.
8. The Lord’s Coins Aren’t Decreasing

The coin market that transcends dimensions, The Dimensional Trading Center has been turned upside down by a newcomer! Erun Steelguard is a trader’s worst nightmare. Is actually living his second life, having lost all of his wealth to dimensional trading and dying in a tragic accident.
I’ll be honest: I have no idea what this one is about. I haven’t read it yet, but the reviews are excellent, and it’s currently ranked sixth in terms of popularity on Asura Scans.
7. Solo Max-Level Newbie

Jinhyuk, a gaming Nutuber, was the only one who saw the game’s ending [Tower of Trials]. When the game’s popularity dropped, he found it difficult to make a living as a gaming Nutuber.
He was about to stop playing because he had already seen the game’s ending. But on that fateful day, [Tower of Trials] became a reality, and Jinhyuk, who knew everything in the game, took over everything faster than anyone could!
The premise of the story sounds very similar to Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, but believe me, it’s worth a shot, just like everything else on this list. Furthermore, at the time of writing, Solo-Max Level Newbie is trending on Asura Scans.
6. Reaper of the Drifting Moon

From the author of [Legend Of The Northern Blade.]
Murim manhwa Reaper of the Drifting Moon. It has a fantastic main character, incredible art, an excellent plot, and fantastic side characters. I won’t say much about it except that it’s absolutely incredible and you should read it.
5. Return of the Disaster-Class Hero

They are referred to as “calamities” by humans because they are unknown, destructive creatures that appeared out of nowhere on Earth. The zodiac gods awoke 12 humans known as saints to combat these disasters. But one more awoke: Geon Lee, the unnamed but greatest hero of all time. His allies betrayed him and abandoned him, but he’s back and stronger than ever, ready to teach his fellow “saints” a lesson they’ll never forget.
Return of the Disaster-Class Hero features fantastic artwork, a fantastic main character, fantastic fight scenes, and amazing/lovable side characters. One of the best I’ve ever read.
4. Player Who Can’t Level Up

Kim Gigyu became a player at the age of 18. He thought he was on the right track in life, climbing ‘the tower’ and closing ‘the gates’… Even after completing the tutorial, he remained at level 1. He killed a goblin every day while still level 1. He was still at level 1 after 5 years. Nobody imagined a player who couldn’t progress past level 1.
But… everything changes when, by chance, he ends up going through and passing the trial on the 5th floor.
Player Who Can’t Level Up has a fantastic main character, a compelling story, stunning artwork, and intriguing side characters. I personally enjoyed reading it and would recommend it to anyone interested in power fantasies.
3. Reincarnation of the Suicidal Battle God (Doom Breaker)

A time travel action fantasy starring humanity’s best. “Even if the vile gods bestowed this opportunity upon me, an opportunity is still an opportunity,” I say, “and I’ll kill them because they want to die.” Zephyr is the last survivor of humanity. After defeating the demons, the gods granted him the opportunity to travel back in time 10 years. The demons stole everything from humans, as did the gods, who saw humans as mere spectators. This time, I’m going to rip them apart.
I’d describe this manhwa as “adrenaline-filled power fantasy with absolutely orgasmic art.”
The premise has been done before, but that doesn’t make it any less interesting to read. This manhwa’s art is absolutely stunning. And having amazing art alone makes any manhwa worth reading in my opinion.
2. Damn Reincarnation

Hamel was a warrior who went on a mission with his colleagues to exterminate the Demons. Regrettably, he died just as the battle with the strongest Demon Kings was about to begin. However, he was unexpectedly reborn as a descendant of Vermouth, his fellow warrior and the mightiest hero.
He awakens in a future where humans and demons coexist, a reincarnation of unknown origin. In a strange new world where everything appears to be suspicious. Hamel’s journey as Eugene Lionheart continues in this new world.
This manhwa was released not long ago and has quickly become one of my all-time favorites. The art is incredible, the story is cliche but enjoyable, and the characters are fantastic. I highly recommend reading it.
1. Return of the Mount Hua Sect

Chung Myung, the 13th Disciple of the Mount Hua Sect, Plum Blossom Sword Saint, one of the three Great Swordsmen, defeated Chun Ma, the world’s destroyer and destabilizer. After the battle, he takes his last breath on the summit of the Heavenly Demon Sect’s headquarters mountain. He is reborn in the body of a child after 100 years. …… What? Is the Mount Hua Sect doomed? What kind of crap is that?
Aside from Legend of the Northern Blade and Nano Machine, this is one of the best action and Murim-themed Manhwa I’ve read.
The plot is a standard “overpowered character dies and is reincarnated as a child” story, but it’s done extremely well. Our protagonist wishes to revive his old sect and make it the best in the world. A simple goal for the story to work towards. The plot is predictable, but it occasionally surprises you.
The art is incredible, and the characters are well-written. Overall, it’s a really enjoyable manhwa that I highly recommend.
